HR Generalist – Learning & Development (FTC)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HR Generalist- Learning & Development (1 Year FTC) to shape and deliver our learning strategy, enhance our performance development culture, and drive engagement through innovative learning solutions.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a key role in implementing our Learning & Development roadmap, designing impactful learning experiences, embedding performance development practices, and partnering with leaders across the business to align people development initiatives with organisational goals.

This is a hybrid role based in our Dublin City Centre office Monday-Wednesday every week.

What you will do

Learning & Development

  • Implement and support the Learning & Development roadmap, including digital learning, compliance training and leadership development initiatives.
  • Conduct learning needs analyses and develop targeted learning solutions for teams and individuals.
  • Design and deliver engaging learning content using a blend of workshops, digital learning tools, eLearning and peer learning approaches.
  • Develop business unit training plans and oversee key learning programmes and projects.
  • Evaluate learning initiatives through reporting, metrics and impact assessments.
  • Lead learning communications campaigns and promote a culture of continuous development across the organisation.

Performance Development

  • Coordinate and support the annual performance development cycle.
  • Design and communicate the annual performance development framework across the business.
  • Deliver training, toolkits and resources to support managers and employees.
  • Facilitate workshops on feedback, coaching and effective performance conversations.
  • Monitor participation and engagement and provide insights to stakeholders.

Learning Technology & Systems

  • Support the implementation and ongoing optimisation of the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Leverage learning technologies and digital tools to enhance the employee learning experience.
  • Identify and recommend innovative learning solutions that improve efficiency and engagement.

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with senior leaders, people managers, HR colleagues and subject matter experts to deliver learning solutions aligned to business needs.
  • Build and manage relationships with external learning providers and vendors.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on learning and development best practices.
  • Coach stakeholders on development approaches, business impact and return on investment.

Operational Support

  • Manage learning-related queries through the learning inbox.
  • Track learning requests, approvals and programme participation.
  • Support the rollout and completion of mandatory regulatory and compliance training.
  • Promote learning initiatives through company-wide communications and Town Hall presentations.

What we are looking for

  • 5 years’+ experience in learning and development from sourcing and coordinating training, completing learning needs analysis, designing learning solutions and delivering a blend of online programmes or in person facilitation.
  • Digitally savvy and a strong working knowledge of learning technologies, LMS platforms, online content providers with experience of eLearning authoring tools and online delivery. Experience in using Articulate Storyline essential.
  • Knowledge of curriculum design, instructional methods, and training techniques.
  • Experience adapting content and conversations to meet the needs of the audience.
  • Knowledge of core learning theories, frameworks, assessments.
  • Ability to define, scope and track metrics, using data to support the learning story.
  • Experience consulting with senior leaders and stakeholders, with a proven track record of establishing relationships and being a trusted advisor.

  • Experience in implementing a learning management system
  • Insights Discovery Certified/Profiling tool accredited
  • CIPD Member
