The CRM Technical Specialist will act as the platform’s technical lead to ensure that:
- Data is structured, reliable and actionable
- Campaigns & canvases are designed optimally and compliantly
- The platform is monitored for performance & reliability
This is a hybrid position based in our office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday each week.
What you will do
- Design, build, and optimise complex multi-channel campaigns and customer journeys using real-time triggers
- Develop and enhance customer segmentation to enable more targeted, personalised communications
- Own and evolve the Braze technical roadmap in collaboration with BI and Digital teams
- Lead integrations, data pipelines, and SDK optimisation to ensure scalable and compliant platform usage
- Configure data layers, tagging, and analytics tracking across web and mobile platforms
- Support A/B testing, QA processes, and performance troubleshooting, including vendor escalations
- Create and implement testing frameworks for campaigns, events, and customer data attributes
- Monitor platform health and build dashboards to track performance and reliability
- Contribute to backend architecture discussions and long-term CRM technical strategy
Technical expertise:
- Braze Certified Marketer or Braze Certified Practitioner (preferred).
- Experience in CRM, marketing technology, data engineering, or software development
- Deep functional and technical expertise in Braze, including Canvas, APIs, SDKs, Liquid templating, dynamic personalization, and multi‑channel messaging.
- Advanced experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, OAuth, middleware, and microservices.
- Knowledge of data engineering practices: SQL, event streams, warehousing (databricks).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years in Martech / CRM
- Braze Technical Accreditations preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset, able to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
- Organised, detail‑oriented, and focused on process excellence and quality delivery.
- Effective communicator with stakeholder management experience.
- Experience in scripting for automation.
