Basic Function & Purpose of the Role
About the Role

Working primarily within the logistics function (Ballycoolin Dublin 15 and other BCP locations) the work will include loading/unloading inward and outward stock, picking orders and processing of returns from retail agents. Assisting with all aspects of the operation of an end-to-end pick & pack function including the operation of mechanical handling equipment and forklifts will also form part of this role as will the maintenance and duties associated with inventory planning in a logistics/warehouse environment.

Your main tasks will include the following:
  • End-to-end pick and pack processing, including line replenishment, recording and personal stock balancing of all PLI scratch card and agent consumables orders in compliance with Company procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist in the maintenance and duties associated with inventory planning including the operation of mechanical handling and lifting equipment.
  • Assist in the loading/unloading of scratch card and agent consumable deliveries and receipts.
  • Attendance outside normal working hours from time to time to facilitate stock receipt and deliveries.
  • Assist in the processing of returns of scratch card stock from the PLI retail agent network in compliance with Company procedures and guidelines.
  • Assistance as assigned in areas within the Sales & Operations function, including Premises, Mailroom, Draw Operations and Tele-Sales as required.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

About You
  • Forklift driving qualification.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a logistics environment 
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a pick and pack environment.
  • Strong keyboard skills.

La Française des Jeux (FDJ)
On Friday November 3rd, 2023, it was announced that La Française des Jeux (FDJ) completed its purchase of all the share capital of PLI from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, An Post and An Post Pension Plan. 
The purchase was approved by the Regulator of the National Lottery in early October.
FDJ is France’s largest gaming company and the operator of the French National Lottery. It is regulated in France, is publicly listed and quoted on the Paris Stock Exchange.
The acquisition of PLI is the Group’s first venture operating a lottery outside France and reflects FDJ’s strategic ambition to become an international B2C operator in lottery, sports betting and online gaming.
Stéphane Pallez, Chairwoman and CEO of FDJ Group, said: “La Française des Jeux has opened a new chapter in its history by fulfilling its ambition to expand its international presence as a lottery and online gaming operator. The synergies between FDJ and Premier Lotteries Ireland will draw on our respective and acknowledged skills to offer people in Ireland a recreational, responsible range of games.
