Basic Function and Purpose of this Role

The MS Power apps digital engineer will be responsible to design and develop interactive business-led applications using Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Automate (Cloud Flow), Power Apps, Power Pages, Power BI, Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online). 
 

Main Tasks & Responsibilities 

 
Responsibilities: 
  • Analyse the business requirements by collaborating with the stakeholders and IT Management, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes 
  • Perform software design using software development methodologies and processes 
  • Design, develop and maintain critical business applications utilizing Power Platform 
  • Effectively educate the business on the potential of Power Platform and its practical applications 
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, etc. 
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned/required. 
 
Relevant Experience 
  •  Experience in utilizing a wide range of connectors available in the Power Platform, and proficient in creating custom connectors using REST APIs 
  • Experience with GIT or other source control management tools 
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL 
  • Experience using .Net, C#, JavaScript and 3rd party plug-ins 
  • Experience with various design frameworks 
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services a plus 
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle SQL, Oracle APEX a plus 
 
Key Competencies  
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline build, improvement, and management 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, adept at troubleshooting software issues 
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and ease 
  • Enthusiastic about acquiring knowledge in new technologies and eager to collaborate with the team 
 
 
Qualifications 
  •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems; or related discipline is desired 
  • Must be motivated, independent and self-sufficient. Able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision  
 
 
 
Technical Skills 
  •  Support organisation wide digitisation and automation initiatives 
  • Highly desirable experience building Power Platform solutions including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages, Power BI, Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online 
  
 
Working Relationships 

Internal -  Business Assurance,  HR, Product & Digital , Game Operations
 
External -  External venders and partners
